to not over advertise yourself. If you aren’t blue eyed with
a six-pack to be proud of, don’t claim to be. If you are a
construction worker, don’t claim to be a business owner with a large
bank account balance. If you are 40 going on 50, don’t pretend to be 30
something.
You will need to remember that the idea is to find a person who will
like or maybe love you for who you are. If you have lied in your
profile and when chatting, then the person will be hurt and feel used
when you meet. If the guy/girl cannot even trust you on your basic
features, how are they expected to have faith in a relationship? Just
because you are talking through a computer does not mean that you can
put on another status and be a different person. Being honest can
actually strengthen the relationship and help create a bond between you.
After finding a suitable person and if the first and second dates have
gone well, you might have to think about cancelling your online dating
membership. The last thing that a young relationship needs is to have
doubt and the idea of cheating in your partners mind. Remember that
online dating services should be used for people who are looking and
not for those who have found or been found. By cancelling your
membership, you will show that you are a good, honest person that is
faithful and committed to the relationship.
In terms of online dating, honesty really is the right policy. Your
honesty will pay off when you have that dream girl or guy in your arms.
